I got to name all the girls, so Jim wanted to name the boys!  Champ is named after UGA Football player extraordinaire; Roland Bailey, better known as "Champ". Oh, did I mention that Champ also used to play for the Denver Broncos???

Major League Roland Bailey, "Champ" came to live with us in July of 2012. I met the most gorgeous Bulldog I had ever seen at the Denver Specialty Show in April of 2011. The dog was Just Lonestar Bright Lights Big City "Bentley"; the Best of Breed winner of the Bulldog Nationals in 2010, and Select Dog at the 2012 Nationals. I was chatting with his owner, Kara Gordon at the Rescue Booth (something both of us are passionate about!) when I discovered that Bentley belonged to her! That was the start of a new frienship and the beginning of my quest to own a "Bentley Baby"!

Champ

Champ has the best temperment of any Bulldog I have ever owned! He is sweet and loving, yet protective and strong. He loves being the only male in a houseful of females!

Champ completed his Championship on August 18th 2014. On September 30th 2015, Champ won Best of Breed for a 5 point Major and completed his Grand Championship. Very proud of Champ. 

 At the end of 2015, Champ was ranked 29 in the top 100 Bulldogs in  the US!
